Brain Science and Hypnotherapy

The reason that I use Hypnotherapy as a tool to build the Foundation of a Healthy Relationship with money is because most of our beliefs, limitations and stories about money are stored in our Subconscious mind. 

Hypnotherapy will go right down to the source of those limiting beliefs and acknowledge them and invite you to let them go while you are in deep trance. Then we replace them with more positive beliefs and points of view. For example if you believe that you are not smart with money we ask you to let that go and acknowledge how smart you actually are, and that you have an ability to learn and understand things that you previously thought too difficult. It’s as simple as that. 

Before you listen to the Hypnotherapy let’s talk a little bit about the science of the brain first. 

When we put an EEG on someone's head, we can measure the various brain waves that they have. When we are stressed or really excited our brain waves are in High Beta, when we are concentrating on something or reading we are in regular beta. Then for many of us as we relax or are getting ready for bed or waking up we are in Alpha. Right before we fall asleep or when we are in meditation we will go into Theta, and finally, when we fall into deep restful sleep we are in Delta. 

Your subconscious programming happens when you are in Theta. 

What scientists have learned is that children from the ages of 0 to 6 are always in theta. Theta is where you program your subconscious. Kids do it and we can do it. That is in part why kids learn so quickly, because they are not analyzing or comparing. They are just absorbing everything with those Theta Brain Waves. They are experiencing the moment and it stays in their brain. Whatever happened when you were a kid is still in your subconscious now. 

The things we inherited from our family are imprinted on us from a very young age. And it's stored in our subconscious. When we have trauma it can often be stored in our subconscious in order for us to survive. Fear, anxiety, guilt shame and worry are all emotions that have their roots in our subconscious.

Reprogramming anything in your Subconscious mind cannot happen from your conscious cognitive mind. Subconscious behaviours can sometimes be worked on if we bring them into the conscious realm but it takes a lot of time and control to literally retrain your neural pathways. Have you ever gone to talk therapy and you know why you are struggling but trying to change it is a different animal all together. It’s hard, sometimes impossible, to change from just working with cognitive behavioural therapy/talk therapy.

With Hypnotherapy we get you into Theta by relaxing you and inducing you to go deeper and deeper into yourself but at the same time you are totally aware. Even if you fall asleep it will still work. Being in Delta Brain waves can be a great space to re-pattern believe systems too. 

During the Hypnotherapy track we will acknowledge some of the limiting points of views and beliefs systems you may have and invite you to let them go. Then we gently invite new points of view and beliefs into your brain. When we do this it allows you to steer the ship of your life better. 80% of your brain is subconscious and 20% is conscious. If your subconscious mind is going in a different direction than your conscious mind, you basically are not really driving the car. It’s on autopilot. No wonder things don’t turn out the way you desire them to. Your subconscious is very strong.

 A great example is if you are doing positive affirmations with your Conscious mind about how capable and loveable you are but 80% of your subconscious is repeating what your dad said to you when you were a kid “You are stupid and who would ever love you.” It's pretty damn impossible for you to get any traction. 

Hypnotherapy is an easy way to starve that monkey that sits on your shoulder and talks shit about you. It’s an easy way to begin to create clarity about how you learn, how you trust, and begin to create confidence in yourself. It’s an easy way to burn away the money fog that happens when we start to learn about finances. It’s a common thing for a lot of my clients. The Money Fog is real. 

This course is about creating a Foundation with money that is strong and supportive so that you can move into true wealth, true stewardship, and true leadership with the money in your life. This foundational hypnotherapy track works in layers. I want you to listen to it everyday for 21 days. It is my experience that each week you will begin to notice deep changes. Usually by day 14 the inner critique is almost completely silenced and you can start to listen to your own wisdom, your own truth. Keep on the path and take it step by step. Repetition is key to your success here. You have been repeating those old patterns of self talk and beliefs for so many years that in order to really change things, you have to do this over and over again. That is why this one track needs to be the only one you listen to. It will go deeper and deeper every time you listen to it. Do this for yourself and take back the reigns.
